The successful candidate will participate in team work aimed at
development and support of various components of a huge end-to-end
monitoring system based on Nagios. The components include Unix
daemons, service scripts, cross-application interfaces, web GUI. Being
quite a new project, the system has much room for potential
improvement, so the work is promising in terms of new challenges,
professional experience and self-development.

Basic Skills / Knowledge

1. Good background in Unix/Linux OSs;
2. Good shell/Perl scripting skills
3. Work experience with revision control software (priority given to
Subversion);
4. Good PHP programming skills
5. Expertise in web development: HTML,
6. Basic knowledge of database theory and SQL (work experience with
Oracle is appreciated);
7. Good written and spoken English, knowledge of IT terminology
