<P><FONT SIZE=2>In attendance were: CJ, Jared, Teal, Stephen Clouse, Garrett Goebel, and Michael Morgan. Also joining us as honorary mongers were 2 of Jared's well behaved kids: Iasaiah and Amariah(sp?). Seriously... they do exist: happy well-behaved kids. Though they did have a slight tendency to wander off when I wasn't giving them key or doing slight of hand tricks.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2>CJ brought up the topic of the variable quality of debugging info output by perl interpreters varying in version and/or operating system. It seems that some strides in better reporting of missing closing braces and semicolons have been made in the 5.8.x branch.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2>Michael shared his laptop running Perl 5.6.1 on Mac OS X. And worked through a couple glitches editing and executing perl scripts from within editors, a shell, and as Apache cgi scripts.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2>Stephen showed us a brand spanking new Dell P4 laptop with RedHat Enterprise 3 and loads of memory and drive capacity. Stephen has been promising to show us many interesting things if only he could get his hands on a laptop to present them.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2>Jared brought along some interesting papers he written describing his thought on implementing Credibility Servers using ternary logic. This sparked various threads relating to ternary application of RPG rules, filtration, moderation, reputation, and trust metrics on community forums like Advagoto and Slashdot.</FONT></P>
