From popefelix at gmail.com Thu Sep 10 09:33:00 2015 From: popefelix at gmail.com (Kit Peters) Date: Thu, 10 Sep 2015 11:33:00 -0500 Subject: [Kc] Different meeting venue Message-ID: Fellow Mongers, I'd like to get things going again, as KC.pm seems moribund. I'd also like to see us having regular presentations. We can get a room for $20 at the Plaza library, which includes a laptop and projector, or $100 at Hammerspace. Being the cheap so-and-so that I am, I'm inclined to suggest the library. What do the rest of you think? What kind of food and beer does the library have? I recall Hammerspace has some kind of snack bar, but I don't know when it is staffed. Yes, the group is moribund. We're all old and busy instead of young and showing off our skills and abundant energy. Or is that just me. I'm fine with continuing to meet in restaurants, and OPKS locations are convenient for me. This week's second tuesday was the 8th. Shall we pitch locations for October?
