Can you give details about the script, who wrote it, and how it was 
installed?  Does it work in off-line mode?  IE, does it work like:

perl -w script_name.cgi
[off-line mode]
^D

(Use Ctrl-D to exit...)


That sort of thing.  Also, what does your Apache(?) logs say 
concerning the access events?
