I am a perl programmer and linux enthusiast who just learned that there is a Hudson Valley Chapter of Perl Mongers. The web pages have not been updated in a while. Is the chapter still active? dag From aramos at sunyorange.edu Mon Jan 22 14:58:42 2001 From: aramos at sunyorange.edu (Arthur Ramos Jr.) Date: Thu Aug 5 00:02:20 2004 Subject: Meeting Time Message-ID: <000601c084b6$1ab72b60$cbb094d0@art> Everyone: I have been very busy the last couple of months. First, I became an adjunct professor here at the college. The course I was teaching held their class on Thursday Evening -- Out usual meeting night. Now that class is over. I started a new class that is held on Monday and Wednesday evenings. It is a C++ programming class which took up some of my free time to develop the content and presentations. Now that it has settled down, I think we should get the meetings going again!!! I would like to meet this Thursday at 6:30pm at The Ground Round in Newburgh, NY. The last few meetings, it has only been Jack Chastain and myself that have attended. But, I see that a few more people have subscribed to the list. Welcome to all who show up. I would like to assign the maintenance of the web pages (and boy are they outdated) to someone who is more familiar with the use of SSH. My feeble attempts have not come to fruition. Anyone game? Topics that we need to discuss are: 1. Welcome to new members 2. More regular meetings 3. Web Pages 4. Trip to yapc in Montreal, Canada this year. 5. Expanding our group 6. Possible new web site Let me know if you can make the meeting. If there are enough nays, we may have to reschedule. Thanks.
