Message-ID: Hello Everyone: I am announcing a meeting for next Thursday at 6:00 pm at the Ground Round in Newburgh, NY. Please respond to let me know if you will be able to make it. Many changes have been taking place in the perl world. The two major announcements are: version 3 of the camel book has been or will be released soon, and perl 6 is under serious development. Let's get together and rant a little. Some topics I'd like to discuss are: 1. Perl Shells - anyone use any of them? 2. Perl Compiler - ditto? 3. The Obfuscated Perl Contest - let's enter! 4. Perl 6 5. Using the HV.pm mailing list more 6. The Web site 7. Trash, I mean Meet the new members (should be # 1, but I'm not going to change it now), if they show. If you would like to add anything, use the list. Thanks. Looking forward to talking about all the good stuff - even if it is a one-on-one.
