    The list has been very quiet...  No discussions going on at all !!!

    Some news: 1. Someone used the amazon.com like on our web page
                            to order books. Our club currently has $6.39
from this.
                            Keep ordering those books from our links.

                        2. I have been very busy with consultants from
Fairfax,VA.
                            this week. We'll have to have a meeting next
week. Sorry.
                            I do have the place for the meeting open.

                        3. The Perl Journal's Obfuscated Contest deadline
passed.
                            I hope that others in HV.pm made a contribution.
My
                            entry plays the game minesweeper in under 1000
                            characters (including any whitespace) of perl
code.

                        4. Does anyone want to work on a larger perl project
that
                            we can submit as a team to CPAN? One project I
was
                            contemplating was to mimic the IBM AIX system
                            administration utility SMIT for use in Linux. If
you
                            have any other suggestions, post it.
