If you are up for it, I think either talk could be interesting.

Welcome! Glad to have you come to the meeting.

As I said, the meeting is in 2 weeks (Aug. 11) at 7pm. If you are
willing and able to give a talk, let me know (along with the name of
the talk as you would like it announced), and I'll get it posted on the
site and advertised to the appropriate places.
