Are you an enthusiastic perl user who wants to find out how perl is used
in commercial software projects ? Or are you a professional perl developer
seeking to learn more about the various uses of perl in a large software
product ?
Helsinki.pm (the perl user group of Helsinki), in cooperation with
Single Source Oy, is arranging an event that focuses on the development of
a commercial software product with perl. The featured product is Kronodoc,
a web-based project and document management system originally developed for
the European Laboratory for Particle Physics (CERN). Covered issues include
using SSL with perl, current and future trends of perl development and, more
generally, experiences regarding the applicability of perl in medium to large
scale software development.
A detailed schedule will be made available in the home page of Helsinki.pm.
