Happy Thanksgiving to all the Mongers out there.  Hope your holiday is 
joyous.

Sorry for the late notice but because of everyone's workload 
today/tonight our normal November meeting has been bumped to NEXT WEEK 
Wednesday which is actually December 1st.

The meeting place is the FDC Offices at 703 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury, CT 
and as usual is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM.  Of course, there will be 
Pizza and soft drinks available from 6:30 PM on so come early.

This month we're going to be starting a new group project that has been 
discussed, off and on, for several months now.  This project is a perl 
utility that will traverse a directory tree at a given starting point 
and based on switches passes, alter filenames followed by the automatic 
scanning and updating of htm(l) files applying these same changes.   
Please give some thought to ALL the variations that can be presented and 
any ideas as to how they might be approached.

And, if we're lucky this month, we will have some non-Mac laptops to 
work with (its a joke, son).   Additionally on a hardware note, if 
anyone has experience with NAS devices and/or hardware RAID it might be 
worth a few minutes.
