FYI Articles are being collected for the Perl Advent Calendar. I know
there are some interesting projects out there. I hope someone is
interested in contributing.

Happy Hacking
Robert

Morning Ricardo.

So, a brief set of updates:

1. I’m expecting a selection of articles to be delivered tomorrow[1]
from select volunteers who I chased down and asked to contribute
individually. This should get us the first ten or so (depending on
drop out rate.)

2. There are people on this list who have volunteered to write
articles (about another ten or so.) These people are about to get
individual articles (probably tomorrow afte) asking them to write
their articles in the next two weeks.

3. This leaves us with about ten articles to find (five to get us to
25, five to cope for no-shows.) I’m going to start emailing the
second set of people on my aux list (now compiled by raiding the
London Perl Workshop schedule now it’s up to find ‘volunteers’)

Things are never in hand. But the controlled panic is controlled. And panicy.

Mark.

[1] No-one should be working to a deadline that interferes with
candy-gathering or distributing activities so I didn’t pick the 1st as
a deadline.

Of course, this plan could go to hell in a hand basket if no-one gets
back to me tomorrow, but that’s why I’ve got

It's November 1st, and I don't have any traditional emails that I send, but I
still thought I'd send this one.
