Because of OSCON, there are many international visitors in Amsterdam, like Larry Wall, Allison Randal, Damian Conway, Autrijus Tang and many others. Amsterdam.pm invites the international visitors to our meeting, and probably some will come. Next to a social aspect, there will also be a light technical program. For example, we may be able to ask questions to real perl6 designers, or learn some more about new Perl books. This special occasion requires a special meeting spot, on walking distance from OSCON. The address is the back-room of Caf=E9 de Bekeerde Suster Kloveniersburgwal 6-8 1012 CT Amsterdam The meeting itself will be held in the room in the back of the pub. This location should be familiar to long time Amsterdam.pm visitors, the pub was formerly known as "Maximiliaan". It is situated practically on the Nieuwmarkt. Nieuwmarkt is also a stop on the Amsterdam metro (one stop from Central Station). There will be a map available soon on http://amsterdam.pm.org/ , the official Amsterdam.pm website. If you plan to join this meeting, please send us mail at monger@amsterdam.pm.org; we would like to keep track of the number of people expected to show up, because the space is limited.
