The Business Enabling team ensures the optimal performance of our Human<br>
Resources, Finance and other business units software applications and<br>
systems<br>
through the technical solutions they create and maintain.<br>

As the Associate Software Engineer focus will be to:<br>
* Develop customized applications using Java (primary)<br>
* Support existing package & custom developed applications<br>
* Maintain, upgrade, and enhance existing package & custom developed<br>
applications<br>
<br>
Key functions of the role include:<br>
* Develop programs or scripts according to specifications and established<br>
coding standards, analyzing and testing them for accuracy and optimal<br>
performance<br>
* Perform integrated testing of systems for accuracy, reliability and<br>
optimal performance<br>
* Establish and enforce coding standards for programs or scripts<br>
* Analyze and resolve program/script or system failures<br>
* Respond to system issues and user initiated support calls<br>
* Perform system software upgrades, maintenance, and support<br>
<br>
The ideal candidate for this position will have these attributes:<br>
* Bachelor*s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems<br>
* One to three years previous software development experience or an<br>
equivalent combination of education, training, and experience<br>
* Proficient with Java, SQL, and Unix<br>
* Eclipse, WebLogic, Autosys, and Microsoft Access/Excel are highly<br>
preferred<br>
* Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills<br>
* Demonstrates a strong focus on customer outcomes, teamwork, innovation,<br>
creativity, and relationship building<br>
* Strong verbal and writing skills<br>
* Effective time management, organization, and communication skills<br>
<br>
