We're hosting a 1 hour Perl programming competition next Friday, June 27, starting at 11:30. You don't need to be a Perl expert to have fun and solve the problems; you can still help solve problems even if you don't write any code. Groups will be formed at the beginning of the meeting, and the problems we've picked will be similar to ACM programming competition questions: http://icpcres.ecs.baylor.edu/onlinejudge/index.php?option=com_onlinejudge&Itemid=8 Code will be submitted and judged in real-time, and there will be awards! Desktop computers loaded with Linux will be provided, so you don't need to bring anything.
