Hey everybody.   I only have a couple confirmed volunteers for
lightning talks this Friday.    For those of you who gave me
light-hearted offers "if nobody else wants to," now's the time to
commit.

I might ping a couple people outside GR.pm to see if they want to
educate us heathens on non-perl stuff.  For instance, I could let
Hahnfeld talk about how great Python is and invite somebody else to
talk about Ruby.    Perhaps Sean would like to talk about
Smalltalk/Strongtalk?   Klein keeps talking about how great Haskel is
... perhaps I could talk about the relative beauty of the Unix shell
environment.

We also need ideas for February.  I would really like to use a
different venue for a couple meetings this year, even if we need to
rent them.   Please send your ideas to the list, or to myself if
you're bashful.
