I love this.

Write a three-page message to "end the thread", then
declare victory.

  At this game, whoever gets the last word gets to declare
victory.  (Or maybe the first one to declare victory?)
So, I'll stop playing too.

Let me make this clear:
   (1) Yes, our data is encrypted.
   (2)  Most of the other assumptions you made about our
business model in the previous email are wrong too, so
   (3) Obviously, I've done a poor job explaining the position
of my company. (The other conclusion, that you aren't
perfect, is obviously impossible.)
   (4)  Yes, in final conclusion, I do agree with you, we _could_
use an OSS database for our software.  After my company has
invested literally man-years of analysis, we don't think that's the best idea.
   (5)  This all started because I dared state that there are price/speed/size
considerations for using Relational Databases as opposed to other
data formats.
   (6)   Can we safely say that #4 is true, or am I still a ___?
