Message-ID: <4D6E4C46.8030108@hopasaurus.com> Good Morning Perl Mongers, First, very sorry about the lack of communication last week, it was not for lack of effort. It seems I have adopted a very spamy writing style or more likely my email host got blacklisted. If there is interest in a make up meeting I would like to retry the Programming Kata #4 next week. I would like to avoid Friday as we have a request to do so, what days work good for you? I would also like to hear about meeting places, what works best for you? Specifically does the coFactory work good for you? When we meet there we incur a venue cost of $50, I will do my best to get this sponsored, but sometimes fail at that, are you willing to chip in a few dollars? Does the parking bother anyone? I can find better parking information if needed, we may be able to co-ordinate carpools better too. Summary of questions: What day and time of day works best for you? What part of the city and specific locations work best for you? Any new ideas for venue? Is parking a problem at coFactory? Would anyone be interested in a group discount day at coFactory and make a day of it? please reply to grand-rapids-pm-list at pm.org or if you prefer dave at hopasaurus.com Have a great day, David Hoppe From grand-rapids-pm-announce at pm.org Thu Mar 3 10:17:00 2011 From: grand-rapids-pm-announce at pm.org (grand-rapids-pm-announce at pm.org) Date: Thu, 03 Mar 2011 13:17:00 -0500 Subject: [grand-rapids-pm-announce] grand-rapids-pm-announce Digest, Vol 62, Issue 1 In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: <4D6FDB1C.1000408@matsch.com> A makeup meeting sounds fine to me. Thursdays and Fridays near the lunch hour work well for me. The coFactory is fine, and we can pitch in a few bucks. Parking is not a problem, and anywhere near downtown is great. Would also be willing to drive up to 15 minutes from downtown. As far as a day-long meeting, I would not be opposed to the idea, but am curious about what the focus would be on?
