As you probably noticed from a welcome message preceding this one, the new
mailing list is now working.
I subscribed everyone who was on grand-rapids-pm-list to
grand-rapids-pm-announce.

Again, the idea is for the "announce" list to have a very high
signal-to-noise ratio and be used for official announcements and the like,
while the original list (now the discussion list) is for everything else -
like the Perl brain teaser messages, etc. - and is not guaranteed to have a
signal-to-noise ratio any higher than the very thoughts bouncing around in
the careeniums of Grand Rapids Perl Mongers from minute to minute.  : )

Currently, the announce list is configured exactly like the discussion list.
This means that it is presently *unmoderated*, but that only people on the
list can post to it.
