Job Description Duties in this busy and demanding job will include: 1. Processing Nigerian residence permits abd driving licences for British diplomats and their families. 2. Issuing Diplomatic notes to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs 3. Despatching official documents, and arranging customs clearance for British High Commission goods. 4. Administration of the local postage budget 5. Liason with Government Ministries and Parastatals on various protocol related matters. 6. Liason with other Diplomatic Missions. 7. Arranging third country visas for British Diplomats. Qualities Required The successful candidate should have at least 2 years relevant experience. A strong command of written and spoken English is essential and will be tested at the interview. The ability to work as part of a busy team and a positive approach to undertaking routine work with a high degree of accuracy as well as willingness to take on new tasks is also important. Applicants must have a full Nigerian Driving Licence, as the candidate will be expected to self-drive to Abuja international airport and various government ministries as part of their duties. The sucessful candidate must be prepared to work to strict code of conduct both within and outside working hours. Good keyboard skills and familiarity with Microsoft Windows (notably MS Word and MS Excel) are essential. This position is a full time position, from Sam-15:30.
