Subject: [Edinburgh-pm] December meeting and leadership

Hi, all. I've recently decided I need to, uh, "streamline" my
responsibilities, and, about a year in, I think it's time for me to
hand the reins of Edinburgh.pm admin assistant / leader on to someone
else. Since Chris has graciously agreed to step in, I think the first
item of business for him is deciding what to do about the fact that
our normal December meeting would fall on the 24th this year, which I
dare say not many people will be able to make :-)

Hi,

Thanks Aaron for everything.  I was thinking that since, as Aaron
said, not many people would be able make a 24th meeting, we should
move it for this month.  My suggestion would be to have the meeting on
the 27th, which just happens to be my birthday :), at Ushers as usual.
If anyone has any other suggestions, please do let me know.

There are five Thursdays in this month, which ordinarily would mean that we
of the True Faith would celebrate on the fifth Thursday. But that is
Hogmanay, and you probably have plans. Accordingly, I will be at the Cask
and Barrel TONIGHT from 7pm.

[Alas, I will be unable to attend the Orthodox meeting on the 27th.]

Hoping to see some of you tonight: too everyone else, have a cool Yule and
a gear New Year.
