Thanks very much for volunteering. Pretty much anyone who's willing to do the work gets my vote. :-) > I also like the idea of getting the relevant website bits onto github, if they > aren't already. Yes, that sounds like a great idea ? reduce the friction for people to tweak things that they think could be improved. > In short, I'm up for it so long as it's minimal work. Understandable; I've got pretty much the same view. Perhaps it would be a good idea to plan for a time-limited term, as it were. Maybe sign up to do the work for a year at a time, with the expectation that it'll be someone else's turn after that? I'd be happy to take a website rotation, too. > ps. The Cask and Barrel is nice enough, but doesn't do food afaik. The Barony serves food, but it's fairly small, and usually mobbed in the early evenings, so booking would probably be vital. Upstairs, bar "snack" / "lite" food. No need to book. Downstairs, proper meals. Sounds like if you're not too fussed about exactly when, there shouldn't be too much trouble getting a table downstairs if people want to eat there. Anyone who needs to eat at a specific time, may want to call and book themselves ;) From miles at assyrian.org.uk Mon Apr 30 11:13:31 2012 From: miles at assyrian.org.uk (Miles Gould) Date: Mon, 30 Apr 2012 19:13:31 +0100 Subject: [Edinburgh-pm] Coming to Edinburgh In-Reply-To: <20120425151012.303853tr7mrd3o3o@webmail.mag-sol.com> References: <4F5208C4.50307@dave.org.uk> <20120425132452.30516wc8uvnqj384@webmail.mag-sol.com> <20120425151012.303853tr7mrd3o3o@webmail.mag-sol.com> Message-ID: <4F9ED64B.5090901@assyrian.org.uk> Do we have a kickoff time for Tuesday's emergency meeting yet? But I've got nowhere else to go that evening, so I'm planning to be there for a while. Walked past the pub earlier this evening and realised that Gill and I spent a very pleasant hour or so in there last summer. Cheers, Dave...
