generic sounding ad, four of our eight current developers are doing Perl,
and all our core systems are implemented in Perl.

DataCash is the leading UK provider of credit card payment gateways. We
specialize in the rapidly expanding market for real-time credit card
clearing via the Internet.

Our customers include leading e-commerce companies such as QXL,
LastMinute.com and BlackStar.

Due to expansion in our workload, we are looking to employ a number of
develpers and support staff in our Edinburgh development centre.

All roles require basic knowledge of the Internet, email, WWW, ftp
etc.

Specific skills required for our developers include Perl under UNIX,
Oracle under UNIX, C++ and Visual Basic under NT; knowledge of Internet
programming techniques wouldbe a plus.

Support personnel should have a basic knowledge of web based systems
and a friendly telephone manner along with excellent communication
skills, experience of working in abank call centres would be a
plus.

Salary will depend on experience and skill set.
