Technical meetings generally involve a presentation about some perl-related topic by a member of the group. Social meetings generally involve a pub and/or drinks. I'll be back in Dublin tomorrow afternoon. I'm more than willing to volunteer to talk about something perlish. Moose and friends come to mind (near and dear to my heart) but there's plenty of other interesting things we could talk about as well. If the consensus is to talk shop and Blanch is OK with everyone, I'll see if my boss is still open to letting us meet in the $office. Afterwards we could adjourn to the place of one's choosing for food/drinks. Probably worth posting to the ILUG and Open lists once we get the details nailed down to help increase attendance too. Is there local ruby or python groups?
