Ericsson is looking for strong Linux/Perl/Systems people, for networking, system administration, and data processing. Job is based out of Plano. Is work from home through end of this year 2020, will be 50% work from home starting January 2021 (after training). If interested, please forward resume/CV and we will give instructions for filing. Systems are mostly virtual, with various hypervisors used. Perl is a plus. Redhat certified is a plus. Understanding of VPN systems is a plus. Previous experience in telecom is a plus. We have several types of openings and our environments are non-homogeneous, so should be able to find roles for any strong candidates. Need people with strong written communication skills, strong systems skills, and understanding of requirements for working in production environments. Ericsson is a global 500 tech firm, specializing in building back end telephone equipment including telephone switches and radio towers. My team supports the unique applications and data required for the north american radio network teams. Some of this work is a continuation of Nortels teams. We have definite global impact, and my user base is ultimately everyone in North America; although I am in a DevOps role. Good luck everyone, hope you're staying occupied. Anyone open for a happy hour?
