Hi Nadim / et all

I'm a recruiter here in the DFW area and I can tell you about one of the
positions currently open with one of my clients. Its a bit of an odd one
and not your standard Perl Developer but thought I'd share as a bit of
market research / places to expand. The client is in Plano and they're
looking for a Java Developer and Perl scripter combo. The tech
requirements are below:

Strong proficiency in Java, basic Java frameworks, J2EE technologies, and
Swing. Perl Scripting Experience a must
Working knowledge in modern web application development frameworks
(Tomcat, Spring). Grails and Groovy are a plus, but not required
Experience with web services
Proficiency in at least one Linux or Unix Operating System such as Redhat
Linux or Solaris 10

As additional market research here are some of the technologies on the
positions I've had open within the last year. I've had positions with 3
companies and these are the technologies they looked for in each company:

PERL
Shell Scripting
UNIX preferably Solaris
MySQL or Oracle
