Question! Perl CGI script, works fine on Win 98, and linux | home box, but only sometimes on remote host. Server is Apache | (Latest), Perl all latest 5, Error returned as file not found when the | file is there, is valid and is found and served 50 percent of the | time. permissions set correct and uploaded as ascii. I am compleatly | beat by this one. Any one come across something simular please. | Curious. I cannot reproduce this situation here; if it works, as you say, 50% of the time it seems likely that this is an issue with the server rather than the script. Post a link and some relevant snippets and I bet someone can sort it out though! We also need loads more web content, although I am aware that I have not been the best example of this so far [:-(] I'll be in the Bristol area all next weekend. [MB] BTW, I've just finished a thirty-six hour session installing some intranet thingy at BBC Television Centre in London! That was fun, but I didn't see anyone famous. Where's this ``pocket guide'' then anyway? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD4DBQE9lr7Jpf3vSy+ei8URAilwAKCXkpV72XU9d8u3vWGoghjlTZ3w4gCXSNT4 q0c+v9NI89t18M+T/MhmeA== =I2UB -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
