The next meeting of the Detroit Perl Mongers will be Tuesday, September 15 2009 at 7pm.<BR>

This month Steve Kryskalla will be presenting on WSGI, <a href="http://www.wsgi.org/wsgi/">http://www.wsgi.org/wsgi/</a>. Highlights of the talk will include:<BR>
<BR>
· The "too many web frameworks" problem, how WSGI helps solve that<BR>
· What WSGI does, what a WSGI app looks like<BR>
· What the WSGI landscape looks like right now (support, tools, libraries, frameworks, deployment options)<BR>
· Some examples of WSGI apps and middleware (walking through 2-3 examples)<BR>
· WSGI in Python and other languages (HTTP::Engine for Perl, Rack for Ruby, Jack for Javascript)<BR>
