The next meeting of the Detroit Perl Mongers will be Tuesday, September 15
2009 at 7pm.

This month Steve Kryskalla will be presenting on WSGI,
http://www.wsgi.org/wsgi/. Highlights of the talk will include:

·        The "too many web frameworks" problem, how WSGI helps solve that
·        What WSGI does, what a WSGI app looks like
·        What the WSGI landscape looks like right now (support, tools,
libraries, frameworks, deployment options)
·        Some examples of WSGI apps and middleware (walking through 2-3
examples)
·        WSGI in Python and other languages (HTTP::Engine for Perl, Rack for
Ruby, Jack for Javascript)

The meeting location is One ePrize Drive, Pleasant Ridge, MI 48069. Food
will be provided by ePrize at 6:30 with the meeting starting at 7. Please
