I've bought dahut.org and am considering using it as a small community site. I have a smallish gang of people that need to have a list hosted, and a few pictures. This lead me to think that maybe there'd be interest here in sharing the usage of a dahut.org website. If anyone has any idea of something they'd like to do with such a domain tell me about it and we'll share. I haven't got hosting sorted out yet (as it'll depend on if people here are interested) but I'm sure that between all of us we have more solutions than we need :) ...daaaahuuuuut... -- Robin From robin.berjon at expway.fr Fri Nov 14 11:36:12 2003 From: robin.berjon at expway.fr (Robin Berjon) Date: Mon Aug 2 21:29:26 2004 Subject: [Dahut-pm] dahut.org In-Reply-To: <200311140907.27812.george@metaart.org> References: <3FB4F69C.8080201@expway.fr> <200311140907.27812.george@metaart.org> Message-ID: <3FB5128C.7000005@expway.fr> George, George Woolley wrote: > I'm not clear. > What's the relationship of dahut.org > to dahut.pm.org and Perl Mongers? dahut.pm is the intersection of the Dangerous Absurdian Hobgoblin-eating Uber Trolls and Pathetic Egregious Rogue and Lame Moungers. But the two groups exist in isolation, especially as there is no Dahut Cabal. So dahut.org is the domain of a group that doesn't exist. dahut.pm.org is that of the intersection of that non-extant group with another one. -- Robin From robin.berjon at expway.fr Fri Nov 14 13:09:42 2003 From: robin.berjon at expway.fr (Robin Berjon) Date: Mon Aug 2 21:29:26 2004 Subject: [Dahut-pm] dahut.org In-Reply-To: <200311141047.30635.george@metaart.org> References: <3FB4F69C.8080201@expway.fr> <200311140907.27812.george@metaart.org> <3FB5128C.7000005@expway.fr> <200311141047.30635.george@metaart.org> Message-ID: <3FB52876.2030901@expway.fr> George Woolley wrote: > Thanks for the quick and provocative reply. > > Hm, Dangerous Absurdian Hobgoblin-eating Uber Trolls. > Intriguing. > > I'm still not clear. :( Don't worry, it's mostly a crypto-pastafarian concept and feeds on obfusion and confuscation. Thanks you! We are indeed a newish virtual neighbour, though of course there will be some to contest our virtuality with real meetings at the DahutCon or the dissident DahutCon::US. I was planning on taking over ownership (read: payments) for take23.org. but DNS re-routing the domain is additional cost. so, dahut.org is running DNS it would be one less cost for the domain. but really, I need coffee and sleep and pretty much suck at dns, so I'm probably wildly offbase atm. --Geoff From matt at sergeant.org Thu Nov 20 02:54:50 2003 From: matt at sergeant.org (Matt Sergeant) Date: Mon Aug 2 21:29:26 2004 Subject: [Dahut-pm] dahut.org In-Reply-To: <3FBBF41C.6030702@modperlcookbook.org> References: <3FB4F69C.8080201@expway.fr> <3FB52926.1040606@modperlcookbook.org> <3FBAE02C.6090502@expway.fr> <3FBBF41C.6030702@modperlcookbook.org> Message-ID: <3382B402-1B37-11D8-ABC3-000393DA6672@sergeant.org> On 19 Nov 2003, at 22:52, Geoffrey Young wrote: > oh, sorry.
