Tek Systems have been in touch with news of an opening locally as part of a
teem moving data from Teradata to Hadoop.

Quoting Tek Systems' Email:

All of this data is currently stored in Teradata, and they are transferring
it to Hadoop.  Any kind of data background would be nice to have, but
looking for someone with a strong Perl development/scripting background.
Top 3 desired skills:
- Perl
- API calls in Java
- SOAP

The proof of concept for this project is 3 months, however the goal would
be to bring this person on full time.
