I'm a Perl hacker doing lots of Modern::Perl style programming, and I try to keep up with what is going on and current in the Perl world. I was looking at the Columbus.pm website, and I haven't seen a ton of activity in the last 4-5 months, and I was wondering if there is anything going on. If there isn't a ton of activity because of lack of presenters, new things to talk about, etc., I'd love to talk about what I do with Moose, Plack, or Catalyst, DBIx, Test::More, Module::Build, etc. I'm most interested in just getting together with fellow programmers/hackers working in Perl and seeing what fun stuff people are working on and building interest in late Perl 5, which is undergoing quite the renaissance at the moment due to the Perl6/Parrot features getting backported. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I've been talking with others already (forgot to do reply-alls) but I'm going to try to convince some coworkers here (Judd & Ethan especially) to get more active in this community and others, and see if I can do the same. It's too bad because the recent revisions of Perl 5 and the associated modules are pretty epic.
