That book is like giving someone a first crack rock. In no time they will be back for another. And another. And another.

I work at the Uni bookstore. Today, for the first time since I've been
there, someone came in and asked for a Perl book. Specifically, the
Llama.

And it was a GIRL.

We chatted a bit; she said she was trying to learn perl because it was
very powerful at the kinds of things she needed. Naturally, I totally
forgot to mention that there was a pm group in town :-(

No cookie; bad programmer.

My hopes, dashed. ;_; Well, I guess it's back to the OSDN Personals
(www.osdn.com/personals/).
