Now that you mention it there are some modules that will not install on Win32 under Strawberry Perl that I might consider doing the same to.</span></font></div>

I'd like to write one for perl5i, but I'm finding a lot of its<br>
dependencies don't have ports yet [*]. Right now, I'm trying to finish<br>
a port for one dependency: <a href="http://search.cpan.org/dist/Child/" target="_blank">http://search.cpan.org/dist/Child/</a> .<br>

The usual process for installing a CPAN module through ports begins<br>
with fetching the source from<br>
<a href="ftp://ftp.cpan.org/pub/CPAN/modules/by-module/" target="_blank">ftp://ftp.cpan.org/pub/CPAN/modules/by-module/</a> (or a mirror). The<br>
problem is that ../by-module/Child/ doesn't exist. Yet the source<br>
*does* exist under ../by-authors/id/E/EX/EXODIST/. The module is only<br>
2 weeks old. Is this a bug or do I just need to be more patient?<br>
