Hello everybody -

If you've been thinking about learning more about PDL, there is excellent
news! Concurrently with the release of PDL 2.4.10, we have released the
brand new PDL Book! You can download the 200+ page pdf by following links
on the right side of pdl.perl.org. For those who care, I wrote the final
chapter on the PDL PreProcessor. :-)

This is the first public draft, and it has a ways to go yet. In particular,
2.4.11 will sport two new plotting libraries, and their documentation will
be part of the PDL Book. Also, there are a handful of formatting issues
that will hopefully get resolved in the coming weeks and months, and there
is lots of material that has yet to be covered in the book. However, we
think it's a great start.

Feel free to pass this along to any and all who might care.

Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are,
by definition, not smart enough to debug it." -- Brian Kernighan
