I can't host or meet next week because of the Agile 2009 conference downtown. I think I can host the week after. Sounds like a good talk. Mike Frag. also wanted to have a meetup at the Hopleaf ( http://www.hopleaf.com) in Andersonville. I haven't found out if they have wi-fi yet, but not a place for presentations. Personally, I'd like to have a meet-up to discuss all the steps to get a module into CPAN. Maybe we can do that at the Hopleaf or if more people are interested at our traditional meeting. Since I haven't been around in well over a year (thanks to being a new dad!) I guess I don't really have much of a say, but if we can get back in the habit of having it on a predictable day each month, it would certainly be helpful for my scheduling. I know it used to be on the 4th Tuesday of the month - is anyone opposed to trying to maintain that date on an ongoing basis? We're inviting anyone with an unfinished coding project to come by at 8pm, sit down, ingest some caffeine, and get it out the door. Or, if you just want to see the space, also stop by. I'll try and show up with some Red Bull, but be sure to bring your own for optimal linecount output. I'll probably be mucking around with some bugs in BackupPC (link in sig), so anyone interested in that can certainly harass me about that. If anyone, say, would like to come by and teach me Catalyst, that would be greatly appreciated. Beyond that, bring whichever projects you're interested and start writing. About Pumping Station: One - Pumping Station One is a hackerspace located in Chicago. Its mission is to foster a collaborative environment wherein people can explore and create intersections between technology, science, art, and culture. We are located at 3354 N. Elston. For more information, please visit http://pumpingstationone.org/blog/about.html . Hopefully we'll see some more Perl folk there!
