[Chicago-announce] April Meeting - Perldelta - Changes in Perl since 5.8 (April 24 6:30PM)

This month, I'll be given a presentation on the important new features and modules in core Perl since the 5.8 series.

Doors open at 6:30, presentation starts at 7:00 and will run for about an hour.

If I have time, I'll follow up with an introduction to perlbrew, which makes it dead simple to install and use new Perl versions (and leaves very little technical excuse for staying with the system default Perl outside needing a compiler).
