you might be interested in BarCampMilwaukee. Visit your neighbors to  
the north for a weekend of technology and creativity at Milwaukee's  
first BarCamp.

A BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to  
share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with  
discussions, demos, and interaction from participants.  
BarCampMilwaukee is a 24+ hour event focused on technology and  
creativity.

It's at Bucketworks, 1319 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Milwaukee,  
Wisconsin, on Saturday September 30th and Sunday October 1st, 2006.
