I have immediate openings for two development positions as described
below. Red Ventures is a very dynamic place doing various interesting
projects and "ventures". Looking for a couple of somewhat seasoned
programmers, fulltime contract or contract to hire working here in the
Ballantyne area. <br>

I had originally tried for PHP experts, but most are coming up as too
junior with not enough computer science background for my tastes.
Hoping that some perl programmers might be available who want to work
in a LAMP environment which will include Perl but also a substantial
amount of PHP. If you are a solid Perl programmer who wants to learn
PHP OJT, I am ok with that, I just need a good solid programmer with
good work ethics.<br>

(Linux/FreeBSD,
Apache, Mysql, PHP/Perl) to join our growing team.<span style=""> </span>This
individual will be responsible for
maintaining and developing mostly web-based PHP and Perl applications
across
multiple business units. Good PHP, Perl, MySQL, and Unix skills are
essential. </p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The successful candidate will have a minimum of
two years
experience in PHP and MySQL development.<span style="">
</span>You must have real world development experience in real world
on-line
LAMP applications. Strong debugging skills and the ability to easily

quickly read and modify existing code is a must. You must be able to
work
effectively in a team environment with little supervision. DO NOT
apply
for this position if you cannot demonstrate your past experience
building real
online applications in a LAMP environment.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The ideal candidate will also have:</p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="">Knowledge of multiple programming
languages including: PHP, SQL, HTML, DHTML, and JavaScript.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="">Full understanding of Cascading Style
Sheets (CSS).</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="">The ability to translate business
requirements into system design.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="">Knowledge of network infrastructure
will be helpful.</li>
