+1 for RT. It's really good. It's really configurable. It's really well 
supported. It's open source, but you can purchase commercial support and 
customisations if you need to.  I keep seeing it used everywhere from 
government departments (ACMA for tracking spam), to on-line games (for 
tracking player queries) to ISPs.

If you've submitted a bug to a CPAN module via rt.cpan.org, or to perl via 
perlbug, then you may have already used RT.
