The format consists of 10 minute talks given by the participants. It would be nice to see some Perl related talks. Please signup under the "Participants" section, even if you're not sure about what your talk will be. Remember, it's only a 10 min talk, so everyone is encouraged (but not required) to give a talk. http://barcamp.org/BarCampBuffalo -Dan -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I'm out in Rochester and a friend and I are planning on heading down to YAPC::NA[1] next month. I've reserved a room but am still working out travel plans. Is anyone out there planning on driving down? If so, are you interested in caravanning or carpooling? Even if nobody's interested in the drive, if anyone will be at YAPC we could try to have a Western NY meetup down there. I'm just getting into the Perl community (via working on Parrot for Google Summer of Code) and it would be great to meet some (mostly) local people. I'd try to make it to the next meeting and ask people in person, but according to buffalo.pm.org, that would be in the middle of YAPC which is a little late for planning. ~~ Brian Gernhardt [1] http://www.yapc2011.us/yn2011/ From magnachef at gmail.com Wed May 25 07:40:02 2011 From: magnachef at gmail.com (Dan Magnuszewski) Date: Wed, 25 May 2011 10:40:02 -0400 Subject: [Buffalo-pm] YAPC::NA In-Reply-To: <64B36C07-355E-4B89-BD86-99D62D9D8243@silverinsanity.com> References: <64B36C07-355E-4B89-BD86-99D62D9D8243@silverinsanity.com> Message-ID: I'm pretty sure that I'll be heading to YAPC and would be interested in a carpool. If you're available on Wed June 8th, we're having BarCamp Buffalo, and it would be a good spot to meetup and possibly see what you're working on for GSOC. http://barcamp.org/BarCampBuffalo -Dan On Wed, May 25, 2011 at 10:33 AM, Brian Gernhardt wrote: > Greetings Buffalo Mongers! > > I'm out in Rochester and a friend and I are planning on heading down to > YAPC::NA[1] next month.
