The Brisbane Functional Programming Group (BFPG) has a speaker
talking on 'Functional Perl'

Back in July 2010, Red Hat Brisbane posted on this list they were
hiring a Perl developer for their Brisbane office. We are now looking
for another Perl developer to join us. Let Jeff or myself know if you

Even though the blurb specifically says I won't be talking about Perl, I
think we all know that's merely a "pedagogical facilitation" (i.e. a lie),
mainly designed to lull unsuspecting Java and C# programmers.
