How *do* you identify a Perl programmer on sight?  I could bring my 
stuffed toy Camel and put it on a table, if there's one available.

Just look for the archetypical Unix geek - long straggly hair, C++ 
beard, etc, and I'm tall enough to spot from a fair way away.
