Google Code-in (November 26 - January 14) 

The Google Code-in is a contest to introduce pre-university students to the many 
kinds of contributions that make open source software development possible. It 
runs from November 26, 2012 to January 14, 2013 and will include tasks related 
to programming, documentation, outreach, research, quality assurance, and user 
interfaces. Tasks are assigned points and prizes are awarded. Twenty grand-prize 
winners will receive a trip to Google's Mountain View headquarters for themselves 
and a parent or legal guardian for an award ceremony. Get started now.
