Apparently, I can't read calendars.  The second Monday in Dec is the
9th. The Ginger Tree is available and has been provisionally booked.

Their Christmas Fare menu is four courses and costs £21.95 We will
probably go for this menu unless people want to do different stuff.  If
I remember correctly we did A la carte last year and Marty ordered
mountains of food for Russell and Leah.  There will be a choice of
starters and main courses, they're sending me a menu via snail mail.
I'll post the details when I get them.
