Having lurked on the list for a while, it's probably time to see what

So what happens at a perlmongery in Roasts, and how does one recognise
the perlmongers (or if it all turns out too horrible, avoid them) when
you get there?

Should I look for a table groaning under the load of caffeine, and
chairs groaning under the weight of the assembled intellects?

Or what?

Presumably it's at (or about) 7pm?
