The traditional name for this day is the first Thursday of the month ;-) I suspect that if you hold these meetings in a pub you're going to alianate some people who don't go into pubs for various reasons. This is much more common in NI than it would be in London. It is of course possible to just take that attitude of fsck all the alcholics (to name one such group) in the world, they can damn well visit the pub like everybody else. Scott subscribes to the BLUG list and asked if he could come to the meetings in the BlackStar building (no-one's answered that yet, but if the answer is no then it's probably not inclusive enough for BLUG (unfortunately, and that's a really big unfortunately)). If you can find the junction of Bedford Street, the Dublin Road and Ormeau Avenue, then it's pretty easy to find BlackStar. There's a small side street that runs from that junction down the side of the BBC building. If you go down the side street, and cross Linenhall Street you should see a large pink church facing you. There's a small sandwich shop about here called Rubens, just to help you get your bearings. Walk/drive down to the church, BlackStar is on the corner facing it (on the right hand side if you're following these directions). Alternatively, if you go down Ormeau Avenue from that junction Alfred Street is the third street down (Linenhall St., Adelaide St., Alfred St., Joy St.) Regards Andrew Wilson (Also now working at BlackStar) ----- End forwarded message ----- -- Yet another Andy W From mwk at icestorm.net Wed Oct 25 07:07:26 2000 From: mwk at icestorm.net (Stray Toaster) Date: Tue Aug 3 23:54:00 2004 Subject: date and time and venue Message-ID: <200010251207.FAA04342@mail7.bigmailbox.com> Ok all.
