As I'm sure you're aware, Monterey is very expensive indeed to get to from Europe, which is probably why no Bath.pm-ers will make it to the conference this year. > In January 99, we founded an office in the UK (4 Castle Street, Farnham GU9 > 7HS). Neat. I haven't actually played with Agent.pm yet, but we did discuss agents last week. It actually came up because I was getting annoyed that the CPU load around Netcraft isn't distributed at all - we have a couple of servers which are constantly loaded, and others which are only loaded occasionally. Thoughts went: oooh, distributed computing, agents. Only today have I actually checked out Agent.pm. Tell you what, I'll discuss it at Bath.pm today and we'll see if we can make an interesting talk/discussion out of it for when uni starts again. Message-ID: <378B0D43.8008F9AB@netcraft.com> Yo people, Hmm, probably should have mentioned this before, but we plan to scale up Bath.pm slightly when uni starts, by having talks every other week or so, ramping up to a YAPC of sorts Xmas/Easter time. Your plan, should you choose to accept it, is to find a list of topics which could be used for a talk. Keep it simple to start with. It has been suggested that every member of Bath.pm either is forced to do a talk or get a talk organized. Be warned. On a lighter note, we've got a meeting on wednesday. Again. Every wednesday indeed, so don't look so surprised. See ya there, Leon btw most of us will be queueing up for Episode I on Thurs... -- Leon Brocard................................http://bath.pm.org/ leon@netcraft.com........................http://www.astray.com/ ... I just found out we do have a copy at work. But someone's lost it. Typical. I blame Simon. Oh, wait, it's turned up in the depths of Alex's desk draws.
