Espero que anes be ahir la reunio. Jo estic encara fora de Barcelona, de
"vacances". Les cometes son perque aixo de l'ESUG em porta una mica de cap...

Sigui com sigui, ahir una de les productores del Drumbeat us va enviar
un missatge a la llista... sense poder, i va retornar. Us l'envio
jo en el seu nom. El missatge fa referencia a un sopar al que ja no podeu
anar, perque va ser ahir, pero l'important es que aquesta gent compten
amb vosaltres. Qualsevol cosa que us passi pel cap, truqueu a la Maria
Josep (el seu telefon esta mes avall).

I arrived in beautiful Barcelona yesterday to work with Mark Surman and
Maria Jose Solé, to scope out the Drumbeat Festival venues, and begin the
next wave of planning.

Mark, Maria, and I would love for you to join us tonight for dinner if you
are available (and not on holiday).  Here are the details:

Please respond to Maria (majosole at gmail.com) if you decide to come, so we
can have a good idea of how many to expect.

At the dinner, we hope to discuss your vision for local participation.  We
are now very clear about the vision and structure for participants in
general, but it is very important that local Festival supporters feel
empowered to shape the Festival experience for local attendees.  You can see
lots of new information at our recently updated web site:
www.Drumbeat.org/Festival (right now only in English).

We should also discuss a plan for localizing Festival information.  I hope
we will come to a consensus on how to proceed expediently, so I can support
localizers.

Finally, we have a much clearer picture of the kind of volunteer support we
will need during the Festival and want to ask you how we can invite local
people to take on those roles.

We will also have fun and get to know each other :)

I look forward to meeting you, putting faces to names, and eating some tasty
local cuisine.
