Hi,
It is great to see the revival of bangalore.pm and we must make sure we
continue this traction but at the same time we should take a look at how
this is being done by the other communities and learn from them , Please
add your thoughts on what are your suggestions on improving
bangalore.pmonce we collect everyone's thoughts we can talk about this
in the meetup
and decide .

Some of the things on my mind are

* Come up with an agenda for the meetups, right now the meetup page has a
lot of items at a very high level If this has been discussed then let us
put the details maybe something like how we plan ( there is an example
below but put something up that you have discussed)
    - Welcome speech
    - Talk 1
    - Break for networking
    - Talk 2
    - Lightning talks
    - Topics for discussions if any
    - Conclusion

* I would like to see more code contributions from the group , ideas include
      - Lot's of third party software software do not include perl modules
( I recently came across firebase and am writing a perl lib for that ) when
you contact them they do not have a problem with adding perl but none of
their programmers have the expertise so these are low hanging fruits that
can make significant impact
     - Look at the latest projects p5-mop , moe or others and see if there
is some interest among the group to contribute to them
   - Mentorship/Internship for Students/perl newbies

* We need to have a group of people designated to share responsibility ,
    - Right now the contact for bangalore.pm is abhishek, should we have
him continue or is someone willing to help him or how do we handle this ?

   - Mailing list - we need to come up with some rules , In my opinion at
the minimum we should at least point out to people when they send an email
which includes the digest messages or ask them to change the subject or
start new thread when required

    - Website is handled by shantanu and venkat so we know who to contact

    - Meetup co-ordinators who are in touch with speakers and also the
organizers and the members
