Will send the details to the list most probably by today evening. I have a friend in Bangalore and I will be staying at his apartment (near Apollo hospital). Coincidentally, he will be away from his place when I get there and will be back only on Sunday evening. If any of you are from the same area (or pass the area), it will be great if you can please let me know about it as I am a bit worried about not getting public transport on the way back during the night. Thank you. Regards, Alan Haggai Alavi. -- The difference makes the difference. It was plain "Awesome". I'd like to thank Alan Haggai on behalf of Perl Mongers Bangalore for making it all the way from Kerala. We had 6 new attendees: Nitish, Shiju ( Did i get that right? ), Vishal, Nihal, Satya and Alan >From last time we had: Krishna, Sandeep, Kamlesh and me There was beer, some discussions on Perl and how people started using it and how they're using it now. I can say this with guarantee that community does have wild diversity. Alan gave a talk on elements of perl that we must / must not use. It was quite insightful. Krishna then delivered a talk on 5 items you should avoid, they were excerpts from Perl Best Practices from Damian Conway. Thanks Guys. The next meet is planned at same place on Nov 5th.
